HooperTag text messages
HooperTag sends text messages only to people who ask for them. Texts are never required to create or use a HooperTag account.
How you opt in
Everywhere a mobile number can be added on HooperTag — account creation, phone verification, and Profile → My information — this exact field and checkbox appear. The checkbox is always unchecked by default and is separate from accepting the Terms of Service.

Ready to use it for real? Create an account or sign in.
What we send
- Verification codes when you add or confirm your mobile number.
- Alerts about tags you receive, open run invites, and guardian request updates.
- Occasional HooperTag announcements to players who opted in.
Sample: “Alert: You just got tagged on HooperTag. See your Tag: hoopertag.com/me. Reply STOP to opt out.”
Frequency, rates, and help
Message frequency varies. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any HooperTag text to stop all messages, or reply HELP for help. You can also turn texts off any time in Profile → My information. Consent is not a condition of using HooperTag.
